JEROME, AZ (July 21, 2010) - A warm and sultry night filled with art, music and gallery hopping is in store on August 7 for First Saturday Art Walk in Jerome. Visit 25 galleries and studios throughout this charming mountain town from 5:00-8:00PM. A free shuttle runs during the walk, from the newest studios at The Old Jerome High School up to Main Street and the gallery of Patrick Lincoln and Made in Jerome ceramics.
Jerome’s Jewelry and Gifts features Rick Hernandez and his 19-year-old son Ricky with unique custom creations in 14k gold and Sterling Silver. Specialty pieces using Drusy, Stingray Hide, Arizona Peridot and Fire Agate are among the collection along with Australian Opal, Diamonds and Tanzanite.
Jerome Artist’s Co-operative presents “Tales of Arizona in Rust and Dye”- featuring found object sculptures by Sally Stryker and batik by Judy Yescalis. Opens August 7th.

Gallery 527 brings back the yearly August show titled ‘Dog Days of Summer’. Dawn Sutherland and Ardis Harsche have painted some perfect pictures of pups to commemorate the summer of 2010.
